A place where horses and people meet
Thorsgården is nestled among rolling meadows and ancient forest in Lindome, just south of Gothenburg. Here we have created a home for horses and horse people — a place where the care of the horses always comes first and where every day is shaped by calm, presence, and respect.
Our philosophy is built on collaboration between horse and rider — and the joy of working together with the horse.
The farm is owned by the Anderson family: Svante and Kajsa run the farm and Alice rides and competes in dressage, as well as trains and breaks in both her own and others’ horses. Alice also gives riding lessons.
What we offer
Everything we do is built on respect for the horse and a desire to share the joy with others.
Horse training
Methodical training and further education of horses, as well as breaking in young horses. Our focus is on trust and long-term development in all riding and handling of the horse. The work is carried out by Alice, who has established experience in handling and riding/breaking in horses, young horses, and ponies. Alice accepts horses for training that is individually tailored based on age and training level in consultation with the horse owner. Alice also trains her own horses for further riding and sale.
Boarding
We have a small boarding operation with carefully selected horses and horse owners. Our small scale offers opportunities beyond the ordinary.
